Hey there, I’m Melinda, a Brand Designer, Creative Strategist and Storyteller. But go a little further and you’ll also find that I’m a dreamer, a multidisciplinary creative and a visionary thinker. I love taking myself out for coffee, strolling through the city and romanticising the mundane. To me, every day is a chance to notice the little things — and it’s those small, often overlooked moments that truly inspire me.

Through my ongoing romance with the world, Everyday Different was born — a space to marvel at the ordinary treasures of life, to uncover meaning in what others might miss. Give me a run-down shop to film, an everyday person to interview or a quiet street corner, and I’ll show you the art in the ordinary. To me, the everyday — the local shops, people and small moments — is a story waiting to be told.

That’s the heart of Everyday Different: a return to resourcefulness and innovation, the art of making a lot from a little. In an age of influencers and overconsumption, there’s nothing I crave more than realness and meaning. So for me, it’s not about creating something new — it’s about making the everyday matter.

Through design, strategy and creative direction, I aim to bring thoughtful, considered and purpose-driven design into the world. I want to work with people and brands who are on a mission to create something meaningful, because shaping even a small part of the world with intention is what makes my every day matter.
